Lucas Updates on INDIANA JONES 5 - Jul 29, 2008 - 06:50am
Indy is Indy, when he is risking his life looking for religious artifacts. Not chasing little. . . . . SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *. . . . . green men and flying saucers!!!!! Ridiculous! Couldn't he just look for the Garden of Eden or something? That'd be an Indy movie.

First SOLACE Trailer Online Now - Jul 01, 2008 - 06:03am
Samson, I agree with you. These are not Bond movies. They are simply action films with his name on them. No matter what the similarities to the books, 007 movies should have their own special flavor which these Craig films lack. I miss Brosnan.

George Carlin Passes Away at 71 - Jun 23, 2008 - 05:22pm
No big loss. He was only good in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. His comedy sucked. Moving on.

TOO HUMAN Set for August - May 14, 2008 - 06:45am
Silicon Knights has make some great games in the past. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Be ALONE In June - May 14, 2008 - 06:42am
I saw some short documentaries of some effects and capabilities of the character in this remake and I was actually pretty impressed. Not much has been revealed beyond that, but at least this appears to be more than just a remake for the sake of cashing in.

PTA to Direct GEAR? - May 14, 2008 - 06:31am
My personal feelings are that if a Metal Gear Solid film is made, there should only be one. Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, these games did for the MGS storyline what The Matrix 2 & 3 did for The Matrix. Which is to say they totally ruined the franchise. It is one thing to suspend disbelief for a character like Psycho Mantis in MGS, but when you start introducing immortal vampires and fat guys on roller skates, or spider-guys jumping from tree to tree and all that nonsense. . . . well it just really feels more like an X-Men game than a "Espionage Action" game. I don't think these sort of oddities would translate well to the big screen either.

Verbinski Gets BIOSHOCK - May 09, 2008 - 06:37am
I only played the demo for this game, but what I played of it seemed quite deep, involving, and interesting. I agree that this property is full of cinematic potential. I especially enjoyed the envisioning of the concept of a world without moral boundaries in biological science and how injurious it could be for our society (embryonic stem cells, cloning, etc.).

SPEED RACER - May 09, 2008 - 06:14am
I have to agree, to a certain extent, with others that have posted comments here regarding the movie reviews on this and other genre movie sites. That being said, I have been disappointed by the Wachowskis twice before with the horrendous Matrix sequels. So I suppose like many others I'll be reserving judgement for when I have actually seen the film. I was not a Speed Racer fan to begin with, but this film appeared to have potential. Still, like others before me have stated, why not choose a deeper property than this to spend the cash on? Some of us have been waiting for years for a "real" attempt at making a Masters Of The Universe film. Much deeper mythology and characters there. Hello???

CLONE Poster - May 07, 2008 - 06:34pm
So when will Lucas and crew move on from the dead horse that is "Clone Wars" and give us some visual insight into the Star Wars universe beyond Ep.6?

Michael Bay to make "2012: The War for Souls" - May 07, 2008 - 06:26pm
I think it's actually a pretty wise move from a business standpoint to play into the 2012 fears. It's worked before for Bay, and it'll work again. . . . regardless of the quality. As for the tremendous display of ignorance and uncouthness by individuals in this forum proclaiming the Bible as bogus, save your unfounded and unprovable opinions for a blog full of Atheist sheeple. This is no place for religious discussion of any kind.

Fox is off to WAR - May 07, 2008 - 06:06pm
Uh. . . . . . . no.

DESTRO from G.I. JOE - May 07, 2008 - 05:45pm
So is there no Cobra Commander then?

X-FILES 2 Hits Theaters Next Summer - Nov 01, 2007 - 07:35am
"Muldfeld [Nov 1 2007, 2:25 am CDT] Indeed, Western, especially US, governments throw around the words "Al Qaeda" and "terrorism" the same way "Communist" was used to excuse any terribe behavior on their part during the Cold War. Now is the time, or perhaps in a future X-Files film, to touch on the suffering of Muslim peoples and the folly of the war on terror, including hypocritical treatment of the Muslim world. It's important to do this." I have a better idea. Why don't they focus the movie's plot on Mulder and Scully investigating the ranks of the Truthers and Code Pink. Naturally they find out that aliens are responsible for these foolish extremist groups and proceed to eliminate each member one by one until they come to the supreme leader, Ron Paul. And then they take him out too. The world rejoices. The end.

MONSTERS VS. ALIENS Invades Early - Sep 20, 2007 - 02:00pm
Uh. . . . . "The Incredibles" and "Best Superhero Movies" should not be in the same sentence.

HD IRON MAN Trailer Online Now - Sep 10, 2007 - 07:58am
The writers definitely did the right thing choosing Obadiah Stane over Mandarin for the villian. Iron Monger looks very menacing! I do hope though that Rhodie dons the War Machine garb!

Kevin Smith's Response To Dawson Snub - Aug 10, 2007 - 07:54am
Kevin Smith movies are some of the worst ever made. He ranks up there with Ed Wood and Roger Corman, only without the awful special FX. Give it up KS.

RUSH HOUR 3 - Aug 10, 2007 - 07:47am
I'm sorry but anyone who says "Transformers' action was unenjoyable" needs to be checked for a pulse.

The SIMPSONS Dominate Box Office - Jul 29, 2007 - 11:18pm
#7 - bdd [Jul 29 2007, 7:04 pm CDT] I have lost all faith in this country. Last week I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry made a lot of money for a homophobic movie with lame 20 year old gay jokes. Now The Simpsons movie opened huge for a show that hasn't been great in a decade. People spent $10 on a movie that they could just watch the episodes to the TV show. Funny. I lost faith in this country when we elected a democratic congress.

EVAN ALMIGHTY - Jun 22, 2007 - 12:06pm
I bet this movie does well, despite the complaints that it isn't "mature" enough. I'll watch it, but probably on DVD.

Warner, Silver set Their Marks on HE-MAN - May 24, 2007 - 02:15pm
I think this can be done right, but the margin of error is very small. They will somehow have to translate this into something serious yet maintain the very 80's cornball names and characters. Again, I think it can be done.

Heroes: How to Stop an Exploding Man - May 23, 2007 - 10:38am
And oh yeah, I too was disappointed and confused by the ending. I wanted to see an all out brawl between Peter and Sylar at least! This was a total letdown in so many ways.

Heroes: How to Stop an Exploding Man - May 23, 2007 - 10:20am
No, no, no. Nikki did not "tag out" to Jessica when she confronted Candice in this episode. I don't know where you got that from. It's very clear that Jessica tells Nikki she has the power to beat Candice and Nikki pushes her up against a wall then looks down at her hands in amazement that she could do such a thing. How do you figure she "tagged out?"

Hooray for Bureaucracy - Oct 18, 2006 - 08:01am
Blah, blah, blah. What a whiner. Who cares if some library took pornos off their shelves. Only idiots want to read something with filth in it like that anyway.
