Awesome, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

Months after 20th Century Fox CEO Tom Rothman told the media that he hoped Matthew Vaughn would be back for an X-Men: First Class sequel, the deal has apparently been signed between both parties. While talking about Fox's production chief Emma Watts renewing her contract, Deadline confirmed that Vaughn is officially on board a return to the director's chair.
Actor Michael Fassbender (Magneto) has been the most vocal recently with discussions on where he would like to see his character go in a follow-up so it's a given that he's one of those who signed a multi-film deal. Same goes for James McAvoy, the man behind Professor X. Whether the other stars signed multi-film deals for their respective characters, we'll have to wait and find out later down the development road.
At the moment, writer Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes, Jumper) is scripting the sequel out.
Didn't Simon Kinberg do X3? Lets see what he can do with this bunch of X-Men ay.
Yep, tallman, looks like he did...I know I'm in the minority, but I still liked X3, and even though there was PLENTY to nitpick, I REALLY enjoyed First Class also. Can't wait for this either...although one thing that made First Class so refreshing to me was they FINALLY had another X-Villain besides Magneto in the big boy shoes...BRING ON APOCALYPSE, DAMMIT!!!
Cheers but I wasn't bad mouthing X3, I didn't mind it too much really. I just couldn't remember if he was involved in a previous X film, without me having to google it.
SWEET!!! I love the X-Movies, and really Like X-3 (wolverine: Origins is dead to me though)
Bring it on! XM:FC was really awesome, looking forward to more!
Hopefully we'll be able to see the entry of Cyclops, Storm, & Jean Grey come into the mix cuz we all know they came MUCH later than Havok and Darwin...... haha just messin around as usual. But im also interested in seeing who the villains will be. I doubt they would bring on Apocalypse cuz it seems too heavy for this style of Xmen we have. Maybe Mr. Sinister?? He would look crazy on screen if they did him right. Sentinels seems likely too since the humans just started to turn on them..... hell i dont know...
I enjoyed the first two-thirds of First Class, but the ending didn't sit well with me. I still like it overall and I hope the next one will satisfy from start to finish. I too enjoyed that we had a different villain other than Magneto and it would be awesome to carry that on to the next film.
too bad origins held gambit down and did merciless, unspeakable things to him...but hey since continuity and fox go together like unicorns and sharpies, why not a gambit reboot as well.
Also, MV is awesome, First Class is amazing...let's see how dark we can go with Fassbender (currently one of, if not the most talented actors working today)
YES!!!
