I dont think, as much as I'd like to, that we Fanboy's have ultimate power over these movie's, but I agree with everything you said and especially that we have a DEGREE of power, how much or how little, I'm unsure of......but I would love to find out. Power to the Fanboy's!!!

@DaForce - I agree, one doe's have to wonder about Fox, rite? And thanks for the reminder, the Wolverine film's would also have to be part of the Boycott, with which I have no problem with since, IMO, they never got Wolvie down right in my book.

Amen to that Darth, our power is indeed limited, just a breeze that occasionally gets felt against the gale that is hollywood.  How else would Green Lantern be what it was.  OK, that may have been a little unfair but you get the idea.  As to your Alien,Transsexual Cyborg Twin Brother, well, let's just say that's the last time I'm responding to a craigslist ad...

Well now the movie is gonna suck...

  Marvel needs to make an X-Men series that builds up to the finial show down with Apocalypse. If they did they in the same bad ass way the they did Avengers, the X-Men movies would kick so much ass it would make heads explode. I say they could do four to five awesome movies before hammer time with the Age of Apocalypse. BOOM The X-Men and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants kicking Apocalypse's ass in a glorious orgy of mutant powers.  I even say skip the whole Pheonix thing.  Takes to much time with not enough pay off except a cry fest when Jean dies.  Ass kicking > than cry fest.

I dont know if I'd say limited power, lol, I've heard in certain circle's that it's because of guy's like US, "John Carter" bombed, if you believe what you read and hear, lol,,,,,,still I would love to see X-men/Spiderman back in the Hand's of Marvel Studio's and would do ALMOST anything to HELP make that happen!!!!!

And Boycott's SEEM to be the way to really hit Fox where it hurt's......their Wallet's, lol.....

Thanks for ultimately agreeing with me, even if you did decide at first to go on a Fan Boy rant about how "Silly" my comment was.

As I said originally (and you later agreed in the conversation between yourself and Reek)... Fan Boys have very limited (not zero... I never said that) power when it comes to making these movies a "Hit or Miss". The greater percentage of power lies with the general public at large.

And as you pointed out (though I don't think you intended in such a way) movies like "Sherlock Holmes" continue to be made because they strike a cord with "the general public at large", not just a small percentage of Fan Boys.
