Venom Statue - SPIDER-MAN 3

In the third quarter of 2007, Sideshow Collectibles will release their Venom Statue - Spider-man 3.

The polystone figure will stand 16 inches high and weigh approximately ten pounds.  It features a menacing looking Venom hanging from a gargoyle.

It will carry a price tag of $189.99.

I would agree; it looks fantastic.

I know it's nitpicky, but it would be nice if the thumbnail showed the whole statue, and not just a zoom-in on his head. I'm lazy and don't feel like visiting Sideshow's site to find it. 8)

Did any of you hear about the big stink made over the Mary Jane figure. It's another Sideshow Collectible modeled after a Adam Hughes illo of her in tight fitting, bra bursting, thong showing splendor ,bent over washing Spidey's costume. It got alot of mainstream coverage, even a story on MSNBC. You can google for it all if you want.
I don't buy any of these things, but seductive looking statuary seems to be the norm for female characters but because of the success of Spider-man 3 the wider world just got wind of it.

Most of these are pretty dumb, but I have to admit, this statue is HOT!!
