While he's best-known these days as a screenwriter and television scripter, Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Galactica, Smallville) actually got his start in the comics business working for Dark Horse. And now that experience is coming full circle for the scribe, who told IGN today that he's working on a script called Ark which is based on a comic he did years ago."Ark is an original that I did," he says. "It's based on a comic story I did around '96, 11 years ago. It's a huge, high-concept, science-fiction story, a big tent-pole thing. We're doing it with Neal Moritz and Mike Richardson at Dark Horse."
