Hard to get the feel without sound and the shaky cam but I still think it looks like crap.
Yet I recall reading that the execs were big on this film and thought for sure they had a trilogy in their hands after seeing how it was coming along. I guess they saw something different.

My god the martial Arts look piss poor. I was expecting speed and dynamic acrobatics. I dont expect teleportation in stuff but COME ON give me some action that hasnt been done in Mortal Kombat or any other Martial Arts flick I caught BACK IN THE DAY. Looks like we have something that just slightly better than Street Fighter (Van Damme) with the exception of a glowing orb that people will oggle at!!! Sigh. Why do they think they can handle something of this magnitude is beyond me!

Any of you cats familiar with Around the Horn? I'm a PTI person myself but anyway,

Buy or Sell: Dragonball film is worse than Street Fighter.

I'm buying cause this film don't have Van Damme in it. :) Plus, the Guile kick to finish off Bison was straight from the Video Game and it was cool!!. I think that's the only thing they got right in that movie.

I never watched the cartoon, as I can not get into that style, but it looks like the movies could be ok. It looks like it might have a few cool action sequences. I guess we will have to wait for a real trailer, which I am sure is coming soon.

Are you serious? Do these people even watch the animes before deciding to make a live action movie? This reminds me of "Double Dragon" and "Street Fighter". What is next a live action Naruto with one of the Jonas Brothers? I am more interested to see how they are going to do a live action "Cowboy Beebop" movie. There is a concept that can work.

Sound or not this looks terrible. And I like some terrible movies. Oh well i'll stick to the anime version and pretend this doesn't exist.

just like I said in the beginning it looks like crap. I will not waist my money to see a rip off of a decent story line just so they got more money to add to the account.
