The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey arrives in theaters December 14th, 2012.

Entertainment Weekly has landed 10 new exclusive photos from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.  There are new pictures of Martin Freeman's Bilbo, Ian McKellen's Gandalf, Cate Blanchett's Galadriel, and more. Check out the photos here! 

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released beginning December 14, 2012.
 
The Hobbit: There and Back Again, is scheduled to march into theaters on December 13, 2013.
 
The screenplays for both films are by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, Guillermo del Toro and Peter Jackson. Jackson is also producing the films, together with Fran Walsh and Carolynne Cunningham. The executive producers are Alan Horn, Ken Kamins, Toby Emmerich and Zane Weiner, with Boyens serving as co-producer.

Cool pics. Still not as excited for this as I was for LOTR but that's not to say that I'm not looking forward to it. As  it gets closer my anticipation will increase, too many other films in-between
