STAY ALIVE is the latest horror movie project to be announced. A collaboration between Wonderland Sound and Vision (the production company owned by CHARLIE'S ANGELS helmer McG) and Endgame Entertainment, the movie is about New Orleans video game playing teenagers addicted to an online horror game. The gamers begin to realize that, as the characters of their group die in the game world, so too does the corresponding player in our world.
Brent Bell and Matthew Peterman wrote the screenplay for the movie and Bell will direct the picture, scheduled to start filming in March. Video game designer American McGee (AMERICAN MCGEE'S ALICE) will develop the on-screen game world seen in the film and serve as a consultant for the project. No casting decisions have been announced yet.
