The CW has provided two new videos and a dozen images from the next week's episode of Smallville, in which an ancient artifact transforms Lois into a Saturday morning superstar. Here's the official description of the episode, which is called "Isis":
LOIS DECIDES TO TELL CLARK SHE KNOWS HIS SECRET — Lois (Erica Durance) decides to tell Clark (Tom Welling) she knows he’s The Blur, but she accidentally activates an ancient artifact that transforms her into the Goddess Isis, complete with superpowers of her own. Oliver (Justin Hartley) and Clark reluctantly decide to ask Tess (Cassidy Freeman) for help with Lois. Meanwhile, after Cat Grant (guest star Keri Lynn Pratt) witnesses Lois as Isis using her superpowers, she decides Lois is the Blur and sets out to prove it. James Marshall directed the episode written by Genevieve Sparling.
The "Isis" episode of Smallville airs Friday, October 22nd at 8pm on The CW.

Is anybody actually gonna watch this episode with the sound on?
But in all seriousness, I get that they want to bring Isis (a character who's only real DC continuity is on television) back on T.V again, but why not just get another actress. No offense to Erica Durance, but I think the whole characters possesing characters has been used to death on Smallville, for example Silver Banshee, Jor-El/Lionel Luthor, Doomsday, the whole "Witch" episode, Jor-El/crazy teacher, Darkseid/Gordon Godfrey and probably many more.)
I'm just thankful that characters such as Mad Harriet, Death Stroke, Granny Goodness, Desaad, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold and the reoccurance of Deadshot, Plastique, Rick Flag, Justice League, Martian Manhunter (hopefully).
