Doomsday device? This name for a bomb coming from a "realistic version" of batman films. Sounds more like a bomb from Dr no or Goldfinger.

Is Christopher Nolan preparing to kick off some viral madness in regards to The Dark Knight Rises? It may be happening with two different media outlets unleashing a "CIA Bulletin" on a character named Dr. Leonid Pavel. The photo description along with transcript comes courtesy of Wired and Empire. Check them out below and sound off with your theories.

tallman, there was a microwave gun in Batman Begins. I think there is room for a doomsday device in The Dark Knight Rises.
I thought the real reason for the success of the viral marketing for TDK was the dramatic reveal of Ledger's Joker face. We've already seen plenty of the (IMO less interesting) look of Bane so I don't think that fake redacted docs for what amounts to a henchman is going to have the same impact
xenomorph, anyone who thinks there is room for a doomsday device in a world already containing a microwave gun is just wacked!
True xenomorph. But not to split hairs wasn't it a Microwave emitter? Same thing but better name I suppose?
I am pretty sure an indestructible man dressed in armor with bat ears driven to fight crime with his billions of dollars is never going to be realistic. Just let Batman be Batman and if this requires a Doomsday Bomb so be it... can't wait.
'Realistic' version of Batman means that unlike the regular DC Universe there is no magic...
Doomsday device sounds realistic enough to me as long as it's tech based!
Same goes for Iron Man, people say that "Oooooh you can't throw characters like Thor in the mix wwhen the first film swas soooo based on reality"
Just think about the Iron Man suit for a split second... just the helmet alone, it's so tight to his face, how can he see anything let alone his high tech HUD?
The guys at collider said this is a mugshot of Alon Aboutboul who was cast in TDKR to play a mad scientist or something. So even though I wasn't convinced at first it does appear to belong to TDKR. My first original guess was MI which has a major Russian theme to it.
Guess he's the guy that makes the doomsday device for Bane.
