Viz Productions Interviewed

ICv2 has put out a small lead-in article on their site in which they talk about their recent plans that put Viz Productions squarely into effect to try and capitalize on getting their properties into film, TV and other media areas. The interview runs over three parts and has several interesting aspects to it as Jason Hoffs talks about what they can do and build on, but it's worth noting that apparently Viz Productions will draw not only on the properties of Viz parents Shueisha and Shogakukan, but also from Hakusensha. ICv2 makes note that this is where Fruits Basket originates from and would indeed by one of those key properties you can see them really trying to push in some form out there into a live action form.
