I remember being bugged that it didn't have the fantasy elements of the Lion Series or that the vehicles seperately didn't quite hhave the coolness of the indiviual Lions, but then a again, I was facinated everytime threy had a seen in the Drule Empire, and particularly Hazar. It was oneof the first experiences I had as a chil with a "bad guy" who wasn't just bad. And the political intruigues within the Drule Empire wrere fascinating to watch. Plus the corridoors in the Drule command center just looked really cool. I fopund my self tuning in just for the ag scenes where he'd pull some political win or loss against his rivals, or try to negotiatre something and have his commanders screw it up. It was one of the first shows I watched more for the other sides draqma than the main characters.   It was a cold war political peace, like the Lion series, but one that made the other side sympathetic, even if mostly in the form of one character.

Whe the double team movie came out I wondered what hfad happened tto poor Hazar, I'd like to think he's leading a good life leading some off-shoot faction from his Empire in a more enlightened way.
