VSDA Calls for Compromise in High-Definition DVD Format War
Date: Thursday, July 28, 2005As things slowly get closer to reality and the format war continues to look more and more likely, some of the voices coming out for compromise are becoming stronger and even putting out some baseline requirements for whichever format it is in regards to standards that retailers and consumers will have to deal with, such as packaging size, retailer rack space and the ability to easily differentiate the product from regular DVD.
