Walden, Beacon & Revolution Take Dip in WATER

Walden Media, Beacon Pictures and Revolution Studios are teaming to produce a movie based on children's fantasy novel THE WATER HORSE.
The story by Dick King-Smith centers on a lonely boy in Scotland who finds a mysterious egg from which hatches a "water horse" -- a mythical sea monster of Scottish legend.
Robert Nelson Jacobs will adapt. Jay Russell will direct. Filming will take place in New Zealand. Robert Bernstein, Douglas Rae, Barrie Osborne and Charlie Lyons will produce. Weta Digital and Weta Workshop will handle the special effets.
