Walden Media recently published a new fantasy ebook called Savvy with the Penguin Young Readers Group, which you can download at the official website in a promotion that ended yesterday. Now, they've hired Karen Janszen to adapt the Ingrid Law into a film as well. Walden will be partnering up the production with 20th Century Fox and distributed through Fox Walden.
Plot Concept: The story revolves around a Midwestern family with superpowers. Mibs Beaumont is about to become a teenager. As if that prospect weren't scary enough, thirteen is when a Beaumont's savvy strikes - and with one brother who causes hurricanes and another who creates electricity, her savvy promises to be outrageous... and positively thrilling.
