Walken teaming with Scott

While he's busy working on an acceptance speech that he might need for next Sunday's Oscars, actor Christopher Walken is also in talks to join the cast of Tony Scott's next film, MAN ON FIRE.

If a deal can be reached, Walken would play an old friend of the film's main character, an ex-soldier (to be played by Denzel Washington), who convinces his buddy to protect a young girl threatened by kidnappers. Dakota Fanning (THE CAT IN THE HAT) has been already cast as the young girl, Pinta Balletto.
