Paul Walker (JOY RIDE, THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS) has spoken briefly of his upcoming gig in the big screen version of Michael Crichton's time travel TIMELINE. While talking to Cindy Pearlman of the Chicago Sun-Times, Walker spoke of the coming production, saying, "It's a sci-fi movie where I play an undergrad student who joins this team of archeologists. In the midst of digging up a site, we discover that people can time travel back into the medieval period. ...It's going to be very dark like LADYHAWKE. There are beheadings and cutting off fingers. It's a wicked, big movie."
Richard Donner, who directed 1985's LADYHAWKE, is helming as well as producing the production. The film is currently scheduled to start shooting in March, 2002.
