In reference to my Annie comment, by those terms of being a comic strip, any news on the Peanuts or Boondocks should be listed here in this category of "Comics" too.

The Walking Dead would terrible if stretched out, it should be a run of around 7-9 years at the most. They have to come to some conclusions eventually or else what's the point? Like with the way season 1 ended, very good but a nibble of hope for something being out there would have been nice, because they basically implied that there's nothing left but these handful of people. If there was any government left anywhere they would be working on a cure. They would be putting out something on radio, shortwave, etc. They would have to reveal a flicker of hope in the next season, it sure as heck can't be year after year of false hope.

Cause the Simpsons can have eternal youth with its' characters.

Why is Mania reporting news about an "Annie" remake?  Is that really genre?

Captain Canuck?  YES!  I can't wait for that.

Someone ask what Annie had to do with comics?  Little Orphan Annie started out as a comic strip.

Walking Dead going for the long haul?  Hmmm... a couple of weeks ago I sat in on a panel for The Walking Dead.  Don't get me wrong.  I love the comic book and I love the series.  Kirkwman essentially said the same thing there, but said it more jokingly (he followed it up with something akin to the show needing to last as long as The Simpsons so he can send his kids to college.).  He mentioned that he would keep the show on for as long as he could, but dropped a few subtle hints as to how he would like the show to end, and that how the show ends would not be how the comic book ends.  He also stated that, more than likely, the comics run will outlive the tv series' run.  Food for thought.

I wish all of you would shut the fuck up about how bad "annie" is going to be because of a hip-hop re-interpetation. Nothing like seeing a person's true colors shine through huh? 90% of the people complaining havn't seen the original and wouldn't go see a new one reguardless of who's in it. That it's Will Smith, his daughter, Jay-Z and they all happen to be African American has nothing at all to with it right? The people that frequent this site are only concerned about the best movie that can be made being made right? Oh get over yourselves, you frackkin tools. So someone wants to remake some old films. So what? The new "Karate Kid" was so much better and ten times the film that Ralph Macchio crap was. This from the same set of idiots who liked "Avatar". You guys are priceless.

Oh sounds great! I agree that I wish there were at least 12 eps this season, but what are you gonna do? haha, but I do not believe that it'll last as long as the Simpsons. I mean seriously,think about it.When did Simpsons start? And its still on!
