Wiseguy, the answers to your questions are spoilers so:

SPOILERS!!!!!!!

Michonne uses a katana blade

She has the pet zombies because their smell helps keep the other zombies away.

I don't think we should worry about the comic spoiler alerts since the show apparently hasn't followed the comic storyline.

I'm not worried about that.

Herschel and the unlimited ammo gun. He must have borrowed if from John McLean.

Thanks goldeneyez. But I swear it seemed like she had a hell of a reach with that katana. At first I thought she decapitated that zombie with a wire ala JohnnyMnemonic cause she seemed so far away

It makes sense that we saw a helicopter in Atlanta, as it likely plays a catalyst for something that happens later on.  I never thought for a second that the walkers were following a helicopter all the way to Hershel's farm.

Well, we know that Meryl wasn't in prison when the zombie apacolypse occurred.  Though it wouldn't really surprise me if he had spent some (hard) time there in the past and would know his way around.  I say we will see Meryl next season, but we won't find him at the prison.

Sorry guys...I am not buying the premise that that the walkers saw a helicopter in Atlanta and just started walking in the general direction and ended up at herschel's farm.  Walkers have the attention span of gnats.  any little sound is going to send them off in a new direction.  A bird cawing, a dog barking...a tree falling in the woods.  Just not buying the idea that they simply walked for miles based on seeing a helicopter.  No excuse for the herd would have been better than this contrived excuse.

Wiseguy..LOL I though the same thing about the sword.  She decapitates the walker and then takes 3 - 4 steps towards Andrea.  That is one long sword!

I probably should have mentioned the Lori thing but it was the only thing that brought the last 15 - 20 minutes down.  My wife and i just looked at each other like, "WTF???"

ElBaz - there are still people that would like to read the comic unspoiled.

Couple things:

The Helicopter: Remember, Rick had the group following the direction where he saw the helicopter go, so the walkers were going in that direction. Barring the CDC explosion, I doubt there would be many other sounds loud enough in a "dead" area to deter them much with that much shuffling noise going on, until the gunfire and mooing loose calls congregated them.

SPOILERS!!! Michonne and her minions. I agree, their smell probably helps MIchonee stay cloaked going cross country. But the question I had was, how did she keep them at bay during the reveal scene, I would have figured they would wander forward on their chains constantly running over Michonne and especially to get at the new nice smelling treat of Andrea.

As a shooter myself, reality did a mighty big bend in so many headshots. I did Civil War reeanactents for a few years in Carolina, and even with blanks, firing from a horse, pretending to shoot over someone's head and reloading was so so nerve racking, no way being that cool under pressure of dead rotting things snackihng on you any second would have allowed for that many good shots, even if they were military trained!

I've never read the comics and had no idea about this character. So imagine my surprise when I saw last night's episode and laid my eyes for the first time on the Hooded Samurai with 2 zombie-gimp-slaves attached to her!!! I was like.... WTF!?!?!?! How left field was that?? I thought i was watching Resident Evil for a minute there. haha

But what a great episode!! Once again, Lori loses track of her son, and orders everyone to look for him as she looks in the same spot 4 times. And once again Carol proves to be completely useless as Andrea saves her ass and then completely runs off alone, walking and sobbing away from the zombies instead of running for her life. Somebody please eat her!!

Anywho...Looking forward to the whole Prison/ Governor storyline next season!!....whatever that is.......
