Ya it wasnt a good idea for me to watch this episode after watching an intense episode of True Detective which  has some wicked writing and acting.

That mullet dude is a fukking retard for not calling for more help, and shooting that AR like a fukking woman and hitting the truck. I dont think your average amateur shooter would screw things up that bad. *rolls eyes* Some of the writing/ directing in this show really annoys the sh*t out of me.

I for one wasn't bored in the slightest.  People give this show such a hard time when the pace slows down.  I thought the scenes with Rick in the house were great and full of tension.  And I liked seeing Michonne come out of her shell with Carl who has become more withdrawn.

I'm curious to know how the revelation of Eugene knowing what caused the outbreak went over with non-comic readers?  Knowing how that storyline goes in the comics I wasn't sure it affected me as much as it should have.

Violator, funny you mentioned True Detective because I watched them in the opposite order.  Still enjoyed both though.

I'm indifferent with this episode. I could see how the plot developped slowly. I mean, a whole episode with Rick under the bed. WTF? My beef is watching this on a weekly basis. That means we have to wait 1 whole week and possibly 2 since it looks like it'sall Darryl next episode) for what happens to Rick next. Yup, we wait several weeks and only go to see the main character lie under the bed. Now...if you have it on Netflic or a DVD set, that's not all bad because you can binge watch and pass through this episode quickly.

And what is up with Eugene? Is he autistic or something? He even walked funny, like a robot.

Yeah ddiaz, knowing what I know with comics, it actually annoyed me a little, but it was cool to finally see some straight out of the comics stories for a change.  They seem to be doing Abraham & Eugene right from the pages. Its good to see it lighten up a little.  Been too morbid lately.

I liked the idea of Rick almost getting caught by the invaders in the house. Some other threat than zombies and an organized community (The Governor) is what I liked about this episode. It was just a random group going through houses and that really built up tension. It wasn't boring at all.

I don't think they were random guys mainly cause the guy they showed eating in the balcony right when Rick takes off, is a guy I've seen before somewhere.   Been trying to remember his name.  Seen him in a few things so didn't think he would show up just for an episode as a random guy.

The tension in the ep was ok its just that I knew Rick wasn't going to get caught so it felt like a waste, I actually fast forwarded a bit.  I'm tired of the scavangeing as well, although that wasn't Rick that was Carl & Michonne.

Eugene the Mullet seems like the ultimate BS-er. I haven't read the comics so I have no idea, but when Ford says that Eugene the Mullet has the cure (or whatever) and then Eugene the Mullet says "It's top secret", my wife and I looked at each other and laughed... It seems to me that the only thing that Eugene the Mullet knows how to do is manupulate Sgt. Ford, who is clearly not the brightest bulb in the barn.

I was pissed at Rick for not slitting those guys' throats while they were sleeping!

Apparently step one for whipping it good is taking off your motorcycle boots.  Because oddly enough the seat is down,  (and had a fluffy green pad on it) and the guys knee high boots were neatly parked against the wall to his right.

Whoever dyed Micheal Cudlitz hair needs to be fired. It's a freaky looking orangey red color, the only thing missing is a clown nose and white face paint.  And correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the hair on top of head supposed to match the facial hair? They're not anywhere close to matching.

The only thing I can take from the terrible episode is that they needed to remind then to find their group and that they really need to fear the people they come in contact with (because rick and Michone looked very happy playing family). That being said they did not need to dedicate an entire episode to rick being under the bed.

And that sgt.Abraham hair dye is about as comical as rainman with the Mullet leading mankind out of extension.
