Ya know the funny thing? When you compare the Governor to Michonne from what we've seen on tv so far, she's actually been the ass-hole more than him! He doesn't seem all that bad, just doing what any post-apocalyptic control freak dictator would do to protect his little society, while she's been ignorant, devious, and unpredictably dangerous! Don't get me wrong, I know who we're supposed to cheer for but so far......ya know?.......she wants blood because they came after her, and now that she knows where Andrea's old friends are, she wants to go back and get her friend and kill the pieces of shit that tried to kill her! And yeah, the Governor would never let anyone walk away from Woodbury, he knows that in this new world, biters are the least of your worries, no way he would take a chance on a survivor like Michonne getting somewhere and telling other people where he is.
Very interesting comments wish. I thought the same thing about Michonne when she was first taken in by the Govenor's camp (Woodbury). They nursed her back to health, offered her food, shelter a safe haven and all the time she copped an attitude that hardly made sense. Even when the Govenor tried to coax her into staying, complimenting her and telling her that they could use someone like her...she acted weird. Made me think she had a big problem with any kind of authority that she'd rather take her chances alone than stay there. I've worked for some creepy dictatorial bosses in my day but if they paid me well and the job was good...I didn't leave. For the life of me I don't know how Michonne knew to take the infant formula to the prison. Did i sleep through something in this episode. Even if Michonne knew about the prison how would she know that Glenn and Maggie had come from there (they were travelling in a vehicle and could have come from anywhere), then when she gets to the prison the attitude emerges again and unless my hearing is failing after they save her life she says something like...I didn't ask for your help. A lot of the govenor's problems seem to stem from the fact that his daughter is a "Walker." I guess he's hoping she can be cured. I don't read the graphic novel this series is based on. I imagine if I did it would fill the blanks and make things clearer to me.
