Geez... the kid wanted to be a walker SO BAD! if I was in Carol's shoes I would have told her to" go find some zombies to play with - you'll have so much fun!" She would have gone out laughing her head off instead of crying while looking at the flowers.

I felt bad for Mica... she was a sweetie and I don't agree that she couldn't survive - she had no problem taking out walkers. As she grew older she would have understood the dangers that people possess, too.

There are no right or wrong answers when it comes to making decisions in a world that has gone to sh!t like it has in the WD. Carol and Tyrese were not these girls’ parents so they also need to keep their own survival in the forefront as well. You can't keep an eye on these kids 24/7 when you can’t even satisfy basic personal needs such as water and food.

Lizzie had to go; she became a sociopath because of the carnage that surrounded her. Neither Carol nor Tyrese possesses the ability and resources to provide Lizzie with the mental care that she required. Carol protects the living, which is why she killed Lizzie and did what she did in the prison. So far, she's the only one that gets it right when her species is facing extinction.

Why are there 3 graves? Did I miss something?

It was a good episode but it was so sad. At the end, even as mad as they got you at Lizzie you couldn't help but feel so sorry for her cause she was so mentally sick as Carol was getting ready to kill her.

Fantastic episode. One thing you are failing to consider Violator, is they have no luxuries to play with in figuring out Lizzie. I've met and interviewed serial killers; there is nothing inside them. Nothing you can fill to make them normal again. As Carol said in the show, she was broken before all this, it was just never seen. She was a liability that they couldn't risk, as she was a danger to everyone alive. Sure, they could have left her to fend for herself, become a zombie, whatever, but I  think everyone stills sees zombie-ism as a walking Hell, and death is a blissful relief, and that was their answer.

This arc has been taken from the comic book too. [SPOILERS?]

Twin boys that were Allen's sons [I think in the show, theyMAY  have been the family that set out on their own from the campground after Andrea's sister got killed] were Mika and Lizzie, with one twin killing puppies and then his twin, and Carl had to put him down, causing Rick and others to worry he was crazy. BUT, they played that card already with Carl when he killed the kid during the first prison raid, and I  personally love that they put this on Carol now, it really advances the story, and adds complexity to Carol that we didn't have.

I  know that Tyrese would not have taken her admission to killing his girlfriend and Mr. Faceless as well as he did as he realized that whatever Hell she put him through doing what she did, she just paid for it and understands now his grief, and he understands what probably had to be done as well. I  don't know if he'd have killed her even at that point in the grove, but he would have certainly not have taken it as well as he did.

My final thought is how the timing is happening for all of this. I  think from the cabin fire, we are certain between the time frame of Daryl, Beth and Tyrese's group, but WHAT  IF, next week, we find out that it all happens before Rick left the house, and when the Hunters come in, Daryl is there in the house too! That would be very cool and Cooooommmmpppplicateddd!

I was under the impression that Lizzie was a little "off" even before the apocalypse.  There was that bit in there where Mika tells her to "look at the floers" suggesting that these rages are nothing new to her.

You're right. I'd forgotten about that part.

@invisioner if your last paragraph is what the showrunners decide to go with, that would be pretty bad@ss! It's been done before of course, but it's not something I would expect from Walking Dead, and that's why I can dig that idea. But then again I'm not sure how that would move the story foward, and that's the most important thing.

This episode was great one, it was pretty deep, and all the actors hit the points. Unlike Carl for example who can get on my nerves, the little girl lizzie even though she was messed up, the actress that plays her is great, so that annoyance doesn't hit me like it does from the actor playing Carl.

Man Mika was nuttier then squirrel s**t. She said "I didn't mean to shoot the one lady in the head" because she wanted her to turn SMH. Carol should have let her get eaten by the walkers and see how she like dieing or being a eaten by her new friends. Hahahaha man that was a great episode

redhairs99 3/19/2014 11:23:48 AM

Newdude, Mika was the little sister.  Lizzie was the batsh!t crazy one.

jdiggitty, there was already one grave at the home when they arrived.  It had a pari of bronzed baby shoes hanging on the cross.
