I agree with the review.  My real complaint with this episode was the fact 2 people with some serious experience with firearms, was unable to put a slug in Merle at that distance?  If Glen was going to be so dead against not telling Merle about their camp, then he should have sent Maggie off in the truck and stayed there with Merle, keeping the pressure on Merle.  Of course I could be just confusing my anger for this with dread for next week.   I am not ready to lose another member of this group or having something bad happen to them.

As for Rick, I think this may be it for the phone calls.  The way it played out, it seemed the 'fading of the voice on the phone' was him coming back to reality and realizing where he was at.  It was done very well.

Darly, what more can they do, how much more can they bring out of him?  This character is what gives me hope for mankind and how we can treat each other during a time like this.  Talk about being real.  If we lose Daryl, it will be hard to keep watching.

Great.... Carol's back........ yay......

Redhood-i was thinking the same thing, as I'm sure everyone did, as to how the hell does Merle get the drop on 2 people who already have their guns drawn on him and very focused on his every move. U two suck! Ya you Glenn and Maggie...... they must have been too busy having their thumbs up each others' asses.. haha

I admit, I was starting to rationalize Lori being saved, but it is for the best that she wasn't. whew! I'll triple the feeling that Maggie and Glen getting the drop on them was a little far fetched, I think that was a little awkwardly played.

As a correction though, "Nebraska" brought us the first humans killed zombie style (Heeeeeyyyyy, sexy layydeay!) when Rick delivered the execution-style headshots on the two guys in the bar. No one knew at the time why he did it that way, but  now they do.

I am really glad they didn't drag on the phone call, and isolated it to one episode. So far, they aren't dragging things too long, and I hope next week we finally get to see how bad the Governor is...I am just afraid they are going to trade Maggie for Michonne in the torture realm...

As an episode I really thought this deserved no more than a "C" grade... It was average - Nothing great happened, nothing (too) dumb happened. It was another "transition" episode, which seems to be a pattern now. Great episode, transition episode. Great episode, transition episode.

That being said, it was still far above just about anything delivered in Season 2.

violator...what do you have against Carol?  She's actually become interesting this season.

Somebody go and re-watch the Michonne disembowling scene and tell me that walker WASN'T Charlie Sheen!!  Looked exactly like him, and wasn't he supposed to do a cameo?

I dont really have anything against Carol. I just find her boring and blahh....... ya she was gonna do the C-Section and whatevers, but she ended up being lost and trapped herself in a room for days..... ( as Bugs Bunny would say) "what a maroooon."

i'd be fine with them replacing her with some hot chick tho. The show definitely needs more hot chicks....

Carol sucks balls, the question isn't what do you have against Carol, its when should Carol die?  I say soon.

millean 11/19/2012 3:04:22 PM

Carol should have died a long time ago.  But she didn't, and now she won't for a little while at least.  The more puzzling question I have had regarding Carol is the same one Sara Silverman had.  When the hell is her hair going to grow out?

I agree with invisioner.  I bet bad things that should have happened to Michonne are about to happen to good ol' Mags.  That makes me sad.  :(
