I'm not sick and tired of Andrea.  She's one of the few characters in the show that makes sense to me.  I can see why  she chose to stay in Woodbury (the nicest, safest place she's been since the series started) instead of running off into the woods with Michonne (because michonne's intuition told her there was something wrong with the place) and why wouldn't Andrea like the the Governor?  He has been relatively good to her and is one of the few characters who displays a personality and an active libido.  Andrea had no idea of how weird the guy was until she saw those fish tanks full of Walker heads...and that he's taken Daryl captive.

You know in a world where nobody laughs, tell jokes or plays ever (a boy acts like a 40 year old man)...and nobody (except glenn maggie the governor and Andrea) seems to be interested in sex it's nice to see that they all continue to shave and get haircuts (even Merle).  It's important to look good when your killing Walkers.  This show is crying out for a witty wise cracking actor like Robert Downey Jr.

Can someone tell me why The Governor wants to kill Rick's group?

jedibanner 12/4/2012 3:24:47 PM

In the comic, he wants the prison, in the the TV show...maybe he has a control problem and wants to make sure he has no competition over his people and his ''hood''.

Rick's group is bringing property values down.

In NY some cat got into an argument over TWD with his girfriendl and ended up shooting her. He believed something like this could happen via some military bio weapons mishap and she was trying to talk some sense into him, bad move on her part

Hanso, it's because he's a duche.  That's literally the best reason I can think of.  Well, at least before Michonne gave him a glass eye.

Motivations for several characters have been puzzling at best as of late...

That's my problem with the show, don't make sense.  The way it happened in the comic played much better, not sure why they didn't follow that.

Wise, that's fucked up man.  Did he shoot her in the brain at least?  He don't want her popping back up when the zombie apocalypse happens.

Wiseguy 12/4/2012 4:16:44 PM

He punctured a lung and another organ but she's alive although in serious condition. Guess in the excitement he forgot to go for the brains

I'm sorry too be a wet blanket. But, this show's writing has really fallen off this season. Now, its more about the number of walkers they can kill in one episode than character developement. And, logic be damned. All those open cuts on Michonne being immersed in walker juice and she didn't die and turn? Come on. The writing here is quickly falling to a Scyfy on a Saturday night level.

I knew when Darrabont left it was only a matter o time before the show went down. I'll keep watching. But, only in the same way I kept watching Smallville. Hoping it would get good again. Not just good every few episodes or so.

The Governor is simply taking out any potential competition.

Oh yeah, and Violator is right about Andrea.  Didn't they just teach her how to shoot a gun last season?  And now she thinks she's Deadshot or something???

Of course, compared to the girl with the bow & arrow, I guess she has a reason to think she is the sharpest shooter in the shed.

Andrea has been a bit perplexing as of late, but I still like her and hope she doesn't go away any time soon.  I seem to be in the minority on that.
