Well...they obviously changed the Governor's story so, no surprise here he's all different and not really close to the comic.

But, it does look interesting but still...sad they can't use the goddamm comic and put it in the show as faithfull as it was created.

Will look it up.

While there are times I wish they were more faithful to the comic, I don't mind when they stray from it as much. As you stated Jedi, they are obviously going a different way with the Governor. But, to me at least...I like the change sometimes. I don't know how it will end up. It makes for geuniune surprise when major players get killed, or that Sophia reveal at the halway mark of Season 2.

I think we can assume Woodbury will still be pretty bad, since it looks like it is only Andrea and Michonne who first encounter it. But, I don't think they could properly portray the things that the Gov does, and most definitely what he has done to him, on AMC. That was some brutal stuff!

I'm just glad they are at bringing in the Prison and Governor storylines. Should move a lot faster than last season at the farm.

I don't mind the change to the Governer.  He is a major threat, but also a charmer.  Where the comic version was obviously a monster.  Last scene...priceless.

Hopefully the Lori storyline plays out the same way.

If the series played out like the book, we would not have any regular characters after this season.

Inner, of course there would still be main characters left man, watchu talkin about Willis?

That trailer looked great,  hopefully thebs the characters say n do is over and they make them more interesting.

Free T dog!  Give the guy something to do.

@jedibanner... Not everything has to be like the comic.  So get over that.  The powers that be have already told us that... Even Kirkman!  Also, the trailer said nothing about the Governer's WACKO side.  Most likely, the arena isn't going to happen, but I totally see his daughter still heppening.  (being vague on purpose)

@innersanctum... Yur supposed spoiler isn't even a spoiler because it ain't true!  The show has already killed one of the characters that wstayed alive for a long time in the comic (Dale).  They've added Daryl and TDogg, so who knows if they live.  And of the rest of the cast FIVE survive and are still alive up to issue 100, when one of those five UNFORTUNATELY bites the dust, err bat, which is a good two to three television seasons away.  Soooo, innersanctum, you're wrong.

The trailer was AWESOME!!! I can't believe how much it looks like they've already gotten finished.  HOPEFULLY, we won't have to have too long of a break in the middle of the season this time!

Oh, yeah, for those who don't follow the comic, the prison and Woodbury are over by issue 50.  So, hopefully, that gives you some perspective as to how far along the comic is.  The farm should have actually been half a television season by comics standards, if that.  Woodbury honestly shouldn't have come into the scene u til midway through the coming season, so to bring it in early may show that the writers are going to work fast!

jedibanner 7/15/2012 7:58:25 PM

Nah...no need to ''get over it'' Hanso...they loose many fans the more they change things so...nope...ain't getting over it at all.

elrushbo 7/15/2012 10:10:51 PM

I hope they don't spend all season on this storyline like with the farm
