@JohnnyRotten I had the chance to sit down with the cast this past weekend for an interview, and Norman Reedus gave a very interesting answer to that very question. The short of it is Daryl is very maladroit when it comes to things like that, despite outwardly being a badass. He really seems to love his character, and his full answer is graphic and funny. The interviews will be posted throught the week.

Daryl and Carol will hit it off. It's the way it's going. At this time, with no hope for humanity, couples have to pair up.  Glen and Maggie, Rick and Lori, Daryl and Carol. You even saw Carl give a long stare to Beth in the prison cell. The boy's hitting puberty. :)

Heck, we might even see T-Dog and Merle hook up too!

joe, why aren't you writing the review? Just curious?

@ DarthBob ....concerning the bite , I think your comparison to a Komodo Dragon is spot on. The Komodo will eat anything , even digging up bodies of the deceased ...and you can only imagine the nastiness of rancid rottedness they consume. Same goes with a zombie they will eat anything and its not like they really have a true digestive tract per se ...what they eat tends to linger in their mouths and fester. One can only imagine being bit by one much like a Komodo dragon is going to result in massive infection and death especially since the use of antibiotics that would have to be pumped into someone in any attempt to save ones life is now non existant. Loved this episode , I even enjoyed T-Dog using his head and going for the riot shield ...that was some smart thinking on his part. I guess if I was the survivors the only thing I would have done different was killing the walkers from the other side of the fence by luring them to the fence then impaling them with knives/poles in the head from the safety of the other side of the fence. Cull the herd as much as you can before you go into the yard and risk being overwhelmed. Great episode and am really looking forward to this season.

Spot on review. I'm especially interested to see this season where they take Andrea's relationship with her "former" group. From what we've seen for this upcoming season it looks like she'll probably start to conform to life in Woodbury, but at some point she's going to accompany the Governor to the prison. How will she react to seeing that her "friends" are still alive? For all they know she was dead as they left Hershel's farm. For all SHE knows, they abandoned her. And how will she react when/if she finds out Shane died at Rick's hand? I forsee the potential for some heavy dramatic conflict! Oh, and zombies too!

I'm current on the comic but I'm not going to mention any spoilers.  The question that pops into my head is: Why take your ONLY person with medical training to clear zombies? Shouldn't they be guarding him like a chest of gold? I would think with a baby on the way that the group would guard him like the Secret Service.  Other than that, I liked the epsiode.

I agree menelek.

I had no fucking clue why they brought Herschel on that dangerous mission. And since Rick is in charge, he wants to make sure Herschel is alive for the birth of the baby.

That was the only negative.

Okay, I asked earlier, but no one seemed to respond (or care?).

Did you notice the black "blip" that would quickly flash across the screen every few minutes? It seemed to be a scare tactic used by the director that eventually just got annoying to me. I just wan't sure if it was just my TV (or service), or if it was actually meant to be there...

Worst part of the premire is that I have Dish Network.  Had to stream it online, which is a bummer.  The show was excellent, and am looking forward to the future episodes!

So the biggest question that I have is if/when Daryl and Carol do hook up, does that mean that the couple smash-up name will be Darol or Caryl?  :)
