I didn't notice the black blips, but that was probably because my streaming connection did hang up a few times.  Black blips aren't annoying.  But streaming video hang-ups?  Yup, those are annoying.

 No to blips here, but does anyone remember an X-Files episode that had bugs walk across the screen just to freek you out (or maybe I was drunk)?

Yeah, the episode was about an alien cockroach infestation, or something, and about halfway through the episode a cockroach walks acorss the lens, to make it look like it was walking across your TV - that was really cool.

Thanks for the feedback everyone... I re-watched it again yesterday and yep, the blips were definitely there... weird.
