Did anybody see the clip where they were at the fence and doing something they were doing in the comic book at a certain place? I think they are going there this season. Maybe next episode.

Joe, Lori was armed...with a revolver. The same revolver she used to take out the walker she had hit with her car earlier (extra tidbit: the guy playing the walker who got hit by the car is Steve Yuen's (Glenn) stunt double).

while we were watching this ep my wife turned to me ans just commented, "Damn everyone sure is pissy this week".  I mean for sure...Shane is pissed off at everone, Daryl is pissed off at Carol, herschel is pissed at Shane (well, everyone is pissed at Shane except for Andrea), maggie is pissed at Glenn and he's pissed back at her...and Poor t-dog just stands around hoping someone writes a line or two for him.

Hobbs, Hershel's kids were in the comic, so I'd hardly call them background characters compared to T-Dog who didn't even exist until the AMC series. Whether he's been with the group since the beginning or not.

Joe, one more thing I forgot to add about the whole Darryl/Merle/Sophia thing, sure the group tracked Merle's escape from the roof, but they never went on a search for him, like they did for Sophia. Like it or not, Merle was a part of the group too, and they pretty much abandoned him. They didn't stick around to wait for him (especially since he knew where the camp was located) nor did they post a note at the campsite telling Merle what direction they were heading. They out and out dumped him. Again, with Rick telling Daryl that they'd look for him later, which hasn't happened (and which hallucination Merle reminded Darryl all about). Granted, Merle's a racist redneck, but he was still a part of the group, and if Rick was going to help out some guy impaled on a fence that had been shooting at him a few seconds earlier, he should be out helping Darryl look for Merle.

So while you have the main division (between Hershel and Rick's group) being solved at the bar, you have a bunch of little divisions happening  within this larger group. Dale and Andrea, Rick and Shane, Glenn and Maggie, Darryl and Carol, and a few more next week from the looks of things.

Merle's also an adult.

Mr Jaw, I did, it's possible.

DaForce, yes, it was mentioned earlier inthese boxes. Still my indignation at her following her cop husband who had back-up, while she was pregnant stands. - AND, yes, there are some interesting divisions going on among the group. Alliances are being formed and will be demolished shortly after is my guess.

tjanson, it was very pissy, very soap opera-ish. I can handle it for a filler ep, but I was hoping for a better one. Hoping next week is an A.

Seems awfully dead on the entire Mania website today/yesterday...

Not sure why people are so hung up on T-dog.    Unless your complaining that you want to see more of T-Dog?    Because mentioning that he is a token black character, brings out all kinds of connotations. If he was white/hispanic/asian he would still be a useless filler character. One of the great things about the comics was it's diversity, especially being set in and around Atlanta which is hugely diverse.  If you believe that T-Dog was put in because he was black, then did they take out Tyreese because he was an active strong black character? OR RATHER  this is not about race, but rather about building a better story between Rick and Shane and then hopefully bringing in more characters from the comics such as Tyreese and Michonne over time.

T-dog provided comic relief in the middle of Hershel, Rick, and Glen coming back to the farm when he asked (paraphrasing) "Who the hell is that?"

Why did they spend so much air time on the arm falling off the walker in the truck and Andrea walking back to pick it up?  I was sure something was gonna happen ... seems like it was just filling time
