Oh man! The Walking Dead on AMC is some of the best news I've ever gotten. I think HBO would have been better but I don't fear for loss of zombie violence or adult themes on AMC. I just finished re-reading thru the entire series just a couple weeks ago and that really brings home how important character development is to why its so good. An ongoing series is the only way to approach this. Darabont is a great filmmaker and seems to get that. I've got high hopes for this.
Would love to see a Hero's for Hire movie. Not so sure how much I'd love Tyrese and Parks in the roles though. Parks' accent especially would distract me from enjoying it. I agree with MrJaw on the Jason Starham idea and that its a shame he wastes most of his time on crap.
Too bad about Super Max. I was looking forward to it. Not so sure retooling it to Marvel makes any sense. The results of retooling scripts usually disappoints me. I'm in agreement with just about everyone that The Abomination in Avenger makes sense and could work out really well as some other villain's tool. Glad to see The Phantom moving forward and not focusing on Kit. Looking forward to that. I'll refrain from telling Jackman what he can do to Wolverine 2. What he can do to it in its stupid something or others. Damn you Ratner. Anyway. I'm off to the crapper for some quality time with today's TWD

I would like to see The Walking Dead done right...it's a good read...and the comic is exceptional, I find it hard to see on AMC though....time will tell
Ray Park as Iron Man....it could work with the right director attached? He obviously has been reading it and is familiar with the character, so you never know...and yes, Ballistic was a horrible nightmare that once seen is never going to be erased from your memory.
Abomination...that would be good...Tim Roth would definitely be all over that, I'm sure.
Wolverine...this appears to be in the right hands, and the films are **FUN** from what I understand, so anything is possible...especially when it did what it did at the box office, and what it will do when released on DVD.
Super Max = Super-whatever.....it's not going anywhere...
The Phantom....not really sold on it, but it could be pretty good....
