axia, I hear what you're saying, and I'd agree with you if LOST were a 2 hour movie or a book, but they gave us 6 seasons of thought-provoking mysteries, great acting, intelligent riddles, smart references, clever writing, nice twists, etc.... I'll concede they punked out in the end - even though I enjoyed the ending, I felt we were gipped on some very important questions, and it wouldn't have ruined anything to give us some of the important answers. They were good about dripping out answers in the first five seasons, but choked in the end, but on the whole, it was an amazing show. As great as I think Walking Dead is, 4 episodes is not enough to even discuss which show is better. I will say Walking Dead is the best thing on TV right now... and I'm a huge Madmen, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, Batman Brave and Bold. Modern Family and 30 Rock fan.

Well, I guess endings are just more important to me then Joe.  If an ending is not as good as the beginning or middle then all is pretty much ruined for me.  That goes for video games, movies, books, comics, ect.  It just does not matter anymore.  Oh well.  On with Game of Thrones!!!  :D

This was my least favorite episode. I thought that "The Vatos" were hackneed and insulting.

Heres something i wanted to comment on and I believe Joe Mentioned this as well, but we are on the fourth episode, and people have complained about this and that but not one of those people ever mentioned that , even though the GEEKs have taken over, that it still took till the 4th episode for someone living to be killed on screen. LMAO, thats how good the show is, it takes you out of that mindset and puts you into the moment.  I mean come on for all of Smallville fans, if we went 4 episodes before Clark exhibited any powers no one would have watched, but with  a show titled THE WALKING DEAD, no one even mentioned or complained that they hadnt seen anyone killed by a geek. OH YEAH , im going to follow the shows lead and not use the z word for the time being.

Oh yeah and to whom ever asked the series is still going strong and Kirkman has stated that he has the series plotted out to  issue 150 so far

Loco, I know I'm preaching to the chior here but... The show really isnt about people getting eatin. It about people NOT getting eaten. I think thats why their havent been many complaints about the lack of body count. By and large I think that most people "get" the show and thats why they arent screaming for kills. There are a few on this very board that have lamented that this show isnt on a premium channel so there could be more gore... Folks like that totally dont "get it". Along the way, as we've seen in this episode, there will be flashes of violence and gore but the show is about living through it. Not dying from it.

Joe, my spousal unit is from Philly.  She properly schooled me in hoagies and cheesesteaks years ago.

Agreed on having the graves be a one-off.  Having an additional supernatural element would make it feel an awful lot like a Stephen King story.  While that's not necessarily a bad thing, I'd be disappointed if they went that route.

Rheul, im right there with you sir, that was me mainly venting from some comments left on another board that I frequent, yes I am cheating on you guys with another board , but I always come back to you all, cause the other posters on the other boards are pretty lame.  It is pretty intresting to see such a change in comments from one board to another

Well finally Mania got it right, and returned Joe to his rightful place, albeit for a couple shows, but i'm not complaining. Classic MC Hammer line by the way Joe. Haha! Anyway, just some thoughts: Great episode, in that they tried to build up a closer relationship between Andrea and Amy,only to have it literally and no pun intended "Torn apart", but Ms.Marita Covarubius (X-Files fame) really showed some good chops in the ending.Nice line as you said Joe with Jim and his family. The standoff at the nursing home?Ahh, not so much my cup of tea, but i'll give Gueillermo and Abuela' a pass.Boy,Merle's little bro is pretty handy with a crossbow isn't he?Where's Legolas from Lord of the Rings when ya need him? Is it me or is anybody else a little tired of Shane playing the Voltron role?Voltron....defender of the universe...?Nevermind. Anyway, good episode, and sucks that there's only 2 more this season.

 Joe, looks like your question was answered regarding Ricks hand huh?The just substituted Merles storyline so there will be no green screen.Speaking of straying slightly from the pages,is T-Dog a substitute for Tyrese? Only reason i ask, is because in the books, they never left camp until after Shane was killed by Carl,and Amy was not bitten until the found the abandoned housing complex, which was also all taking place in the dead of winter if i recall.Theyre really humming right along, and at this pace i cant see any reason why the wouldn't find the prison very early into next season,but that begs the question again,how long is Shane gonna be hanging around?Interesting what theyre gonna do, but any thoughts? In the comic Amy was killed at the same spot as in the show. Jim was also bitten there, we will see next week if that happened or not. You are right that they left after Shane got shot...they better still have Carl do that. But his anger with Rick and his frustration still needs to be built up more for that to happen. I saw halfway through the next season it will happen. And I don't think T-Dog is Tyrese. I can't see T-Dog being a right hand man like Tyrese was.

This episode was great though, nice twist with the group in the city not being all bad.... shows that nothing is as it seems. The ending was horrifying! Perfectly filmed and acted out.
