I just now read the EW article about David Morrissey. Looks like he will be back.

@alien, Breaking Bad should be back in July.

Great Finale...I have no problem's with this episode at all...Can't wait to see where they go now.....Carl did the right thing, that dude didnt put his gun down fast enough for me either....

Golden Eyez, I completely agree. Like Arrow, Batman movies, etc .... this is nothing more than an Elsworlds/What If version of the comics. If one can look at it like that, then it can be enjoyed on its on merits. As long as its done well, I'll watch it and enjoy.

I thought  Carl made the right call given the circumstances. The kid was putting down the gun. Plus, he was still approaching he and Herschel. That's what it looked like to both me and my girlfriend. And she is the biggest bleeding heart on the planet. ...lol

Where I would have beat Carl's little ass is when he disrespected his father by talking back. Rick should have dropped Carl like Carl dropped that badge. But like someone else said, then Rick might have to lock Carl in his cell at night, tho. I'm just saying.

I agree with some of you this episode did seem like a mid-season premiere however i am looking foward to never having a side story with Andrea again. I know she is one of the popular ones in he comics but good lord she needed to go and when she couldnt pick up the plyers i knew it was coming!! I also agree with what Carl did that kid went there to kill them its only fair. Overall episode was just meh.

After taking the day, for a season finale, I still feel let down.  Does that mean it sucked, no.  I am not going to jump ship or something that extreme.  I was just wanting something different.  I am now curious to see where we pick up in October.  Not super excited, like for Feb, but looking forward to it.

As for Carl.  Knowing this person was just at your home, with intent on killing or shooting at you, the only way I don't shoot is if he dropped the gun RIGHT when we told him to.  You don't wait and give the impression you might be thinking otherwise.  If you are that scared, you say no problem, it is down, please don't shoot me.

And the speech he gave to Rick before dropping the badge, he was right and the timing may suck, but he finally shared his feelings.  He has been thru a lot.  BUT, there needs to be a 'Come to Jesus' meeting after his visual issue with the new folks.  He has to be brought back to some human / compassion side.  To know there is a time and place.

I am with RedHood2010 and other who feel the same way. The season finale did not suck, but after episode 15 it was seriously anti-climactic.

Samson, the problem is that Walking Dead is more like a book than a comic.  It hasnt been reinterpreted at the source like Batman and other superheroes.  Plus for the superheroe movies they borrow from the comics they dont adapt storylines.  TDK has elements of The Long Hallowwen but they diidnt name the movie that or claim it was an adaption of that storyline.

Walking Dead is more like Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings etc. People already know whats going to happen but they watch anyway.  Why would you watch an adaption to be surprised?  Doesnt make sense.  If you like to be surprised youd be tuning in to original programming you know nothing about.  Walking Dead shouldve stuck closer to the source while expanding on it.

I get a lot of you question whether Jody (the Woodbury kid Carl kills) was going to try something, therefore justifying Carls actions, but I don't think the show sees it that way. Jody was handing over a rifle and he had two pistols trained on him, there was no way he thought he could get the drop on them. Also, Carl tells Rick "He drew on US", which is completely uintrue, and Herschel's grandfather-like talk with Rick I think is telling in which way this show is going with it.
