The rights to MOTHER OF INVENTION have been picked up by Walt Disney Pictures.

The film is to be a family comedy which is loosely based on a real-life spy. The woman the film is based on is a single soccer mom in San Francisco with two kids and a nanny. Her kids don't know she is a spy and she will retire before the movie is released.

The film will be produced by Andrew Gunn and Stacey Attanasio-Gonsalves.

A soccer mom spy movie could have some fun, family laughs I guess. I'd be interested in reading the real-life story of the woman the movie's based on.

Maybe Angelina Jolie can do this movie as a sequel to Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Wes, I agree, it sounds like it could be an interesting story regardless of what happens with the movie. Wonder if there is a novel on which this is based or if she just sold the rights to the story directly to the filmmakers.

The sequel will be the "Mothers of Invention" and feature a quest to find the tomb of Frank Zappa!

A watered down, dumbed down female version of True Lies....I'll pass.

Bullsh*t. Spies don't just retire and then allow their life, or some portion of it, to turned out into the public domain. Depending on what a spies, he or she might just as well paint a bullseye on themselves. Nice try though.
