Crunchyroll has announced that they'll be simulcasting what some fans have called a controversial show this season with Hourou Musuko, aka Wandering Son. The Aniplex series is scheduled to start next Thursday with a 1 PM ET simulcast time and there is no mention of how many episodes this series is going to be yet, either on the Crunchyroll page or the Wikipedia entry. The seinen manga series has been running since 2002 with eleven volumes to date which gives it a fair amount of material to work with as well.
Plot summary: Nitori Shuichi is a boy who wants to become a girl. He transfers to a new elementary school, and there, meets Takatsuki Yoshino, a tall and attractive young girl. Coincidentally, Yoshino also dreams of becoming the opposite sex. She lets Shuichi in on a secret that she cross dresses from time to time and visits places far from home. Due to the fact that they share the same secret, they become close. The two are now in middle school. In the midst of a crowd full of new people, the two search for their own paths; all the while facing the troubles and concerns that come along with puberty.
