The filmed adaptation of Mark Millar's comic 'Wanted' is still making money overseas. Apparently its the time of year when there's a lull in the film distribution cycle and studios send their wares to a less crowded foreign-market. As a result, the overseas box office shows ten different movies in the #1 spot in ten different locations.
In China 'Wanted' opened at #1 where it banked $3.4 million on 454 screens. All told, it's foreign box office for the week was $4.9 million from 1,327 screens in 17 countries, climbing to $196.2 million total.
