**Oh yeah, issues 4 and 5... man, those were awesome.** So does anyone have those books on hand to relate to us of what the rest of us really have no clue? I could possibly be interested.

Preproduction seems to be on schedule for Wanted 2, with Mark Millar telling SHH that the script is finished and production is set to begin in 8 weeks time, which means sometime in late September or early October barring any snafus. While he wouldn't confirm or deny any casting rumors, he did confirm previous reports that Timur Bekmambetov is returning to direct while James McAvoy will again play Wesley Gibson. James is the only confirmed returning star. Evan Spiliotopoulos penned the screenplay.
As far as story plot for the sequel, Millar tells SHH that the sequel will revolve around the international group of assassins from issues 4 and 5 from Millar's graphic novel.
Universal produced the original film for $75 million and cashed in $341.4 million worldwide.

Yeah, 4 and 5 doesn't mean crap to me either, but I'll see this for sure.
Definately excited for this and im glad McAvoy is returning to reprise his role.
Oh man, Book 4 & 5!!!!!! Book fuckin 4 & 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF is Book 4 & 5?
If McVoy does this does that take him out of The Hobbit? If it does he needs to bail on Wanted 2 quick.
He's not going to bail, he can do both movies equally no problems. I mean he's an actor what the hell else does he do in life? Plus the Hobit is not set to shoot until sometime in 2010. Plenty o time for James to handle Wanted 2.
Push? C'mon! PUSH!? I mean, it was okay, but wanted was far more entertaining. Besides, I'd take Angelina over Dakota anyday; going beyond the legal reasons and all. I shall be looking forward to this sequel with gusto.
The first one sucked so I hope they do a better job with the second.
If I have time later I'll go dig out my copies later. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I know that the organization in the books was split into 5 chapters controlling different parts of the world. Don't know if that's what his referring to.
They better get AJ back for the sequel. I think a good 50-60% of the box office was directly due to the scene in the trailer of a half-nekkid Angie walking around all hot & wet.
Wanted was a great surprise hit. As sequels go, lately, they haven't been all that bad. But there's plenty of room to mess up something good, especially if it's something as crazy as Wanted. Hats off though. I'll be there, ready to watch. Don't disappoint.
