TERMINATOR 3: WAR OF THE MACHINES has arrived in game stores nationwide. The single-player/multiplayer first-person shooter lets gamers experience combat in the dark future first seen in James Cameron's TERMINATOR movie where the surviving remnants of humanity fight for survival against the intelligence machines led by SkyNet.
In the game you'll experience battles staged across the smashed ruins of Los Angeles, a ruined sea harbor, ripped-up highways, Tech Com and SkyNet bases, burned-out factories and more. In multiplayer mode up to 32 people can be engaged against each other, with you deciding if you want to play as a human soldier or a Terminator endoskeleton. Each side offers multiple classes to choose from including never-before-seen models of Terminators. Weapons range from conventional rocket launchers, sniper rifles, automatic machine guns to futuristic phased plasma rifles, plasma cannons and particle beam weapons.
Arnold Schwarzenegger provides the voice for his model of Terminator. In the "Termination" game mode the Tech Com player with the most confirmed kills will be able to respawn as the reprogrammed Arnold Terminator and fight the battle alongside John Connor's forces.
TERMINATOR 3: WAR OF THE MACHINES is out now for the PC and retails for $39.95. The game has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
