Not of fan of rom coms.  I love zom coms.  But a zom rom com?  I don't know about that.  I'm sure someone will force me to watch it at some point.  I've thankfully been able to avoid most of the twilight drivel that is thankfully coming to an end.

I'm mildly interested in this ever since I saw the trailer. I think the comparison to Twilight is unjustified

I'm with wise, tho as I hate zombie movies in general, I thought this was different enough to at least be interesting.  that said, i won't see it in theaters for sure.

 The trailer amused and intrigued me.  I agree with Wiseguy that the Twilight comparison is unjust and inaccurate.  I've seen all the Twilight movies except the last one (with Rifftrax, but still...) and this movie looks like it could be entertaining.  

kimbroo, I've heard Shaun of the Dead referred to as a zom rom com, would you consider that one?  And if so, would you consider it a good one?  I guess I would probably agree it's a zom rom com if I was asked.

I like that Nicholas Hoult kid, I sometimes can't believe he was the little kid in About a Boy...



 

 It looks interesting.  Reusing some tired jokes, but has some unique ideas.  I've seen two other films where this theme has been explored.  And, that walk like a zombie scene reminded me SOTD.  I have to admit, I'm about  zombied out.  The Walking Dead is enough for me.  It would be nice to see something in theaters besides zombies, vampires and Japanese styled ghosts.  There is a world of mythology and imagination to pull from...let's see something a bit different.  

I have to agree with Wise, this looks nothing like Twilight in theme or tone.  Not a fair comparison.  I'd shoot for something like SOTD, Zombieland, or Ahhhhhh...Zombies.  

I thought the newest trailer looked promising.  But  these "character posters" are ridiculously stupid.  Who looked at these and thought, "Yeah, we should put those out.  They'll really draw in our target audience."

 it looks pretty interesting to me based on the trailer.

 The look of the main zombie teenager, despite the humor involved, and the fact that it is a PG-13 zombie flick makes it justified enough for me to be compared to twilight.  Zombies are not supposed to moisten the panties of 15 year old girls.  Not the typical ones anyway.
