Warner Bros. Goes UMD in Japan

A sign of how things are playing out, Warner Bros. has finally announced several of their biggest releases will hit Sony's PSP format, the UMD. [image] Warner Bros. has been one of the holdouts for obvious reasons but their move to get the money that's sitting on the table with UMD appears to be in line with comments in previous Business Week articles that talk about moving beyond old alliances and thinking about the bottom line. Speculation of a deal tied with Blu-Ray don't seem far fetched.
