Transformers was just a one night stand whom I may revisit when in the mood for a bootycall, but nothing serious.

Heck why not Brad Garrett for Lobo he's got the stature and he's done the voice on the Justice League animated series.

"Everybody Loves Lobo"...yeah, some guys I just can't picture in certain roles, dragon...lol.

I really hope the Captain America movie isn't just "The Ultimates #1". That comic bored the living crap out of me.

Weird to think about Ryan Reynolds in the JLA. I'll have to see it to believe it, though I'm glad DC is moving in that direction!

Clancy Brown is bad-ass awesome. He can play whatever role he likes, and I'll like it.

SgtTechCom 10/21/2009 11:47:54 AM

Clancy Brown was great in Bad Boys 1983 as Viking one of his first roles. Definately bad ass he always plays some crazy nut in some capacity.

Skarsgard yet not born american is capt america just watch generation kill. He's my 1st choice , 2nd would have to be jensen ackles.

On JLA:

I don't think the inclusion of Aquaman in this movie would be a good thing unless the villain of the piece is going to be Starro. Even in the comics it's always a chore finding something for Aquaman to do on land.

Ozymandus- haha. If you haven't already, you should see Robot Chicken's rendition of Aquaman on the Justice LEague. Hilarious.

I think that its all rumor and specultion as far as the Justice League movie goes. I mean it would make sense for DC/Warner to take a page or two out of Marvel's playbook, but I just can't see them actually doing it anytime soon. They would have to sort of reboot Batman and fix the Superman franchise in order for it to fit in with the other 3 characters. Sounds to me, like DC screwed the pooch and will be scrambling for awhile to catch up to Marvel/ Disney agenda.

And as far as they go, I don`t want Captain America  to be "unexpected" and I don't think the fans do either. They want him to just be as accurate and faithful to the Steve Rogers we know. Don't reinvent the wheel. And definitely don't use the Ultimates line. I do bet that they'll use his uniform though. The winged ears are a little fruity.

I'm still clueless as to what people have against the Ultimates.  I thought it was great.  I really enjoyed Cap's personality in The Ultimates...a reasonable guy, but not against kicking Banner in the face once they have the Hulk contained...lol.  Besides, with Sam Jackson in the mix, it would appear that they're at least doing a mix of classic and Ultimate lines.  Nick Fury is african american, but Tony Stark doesn't have a brain tumor...and I doubt they'll play Thor up as a potentially crazy man.
