Absolutely cast Clancy Brown as Lobo!!! Think of his characters in Pet Sematary 2 and The Shawshank Redemption combined and you've got the main man. This guy can play any character. Perfect choice for Lobo!

Notice the big if? The reason is this: If they do it like Gollum, then it's all good. Weta did wonderful work there. If it's more like Hulk, then I'm not so sure. Some shots are good, some not so much, so it's hit or miss.

Haha, Clancy Brown freak'in rocks!!!! His character in Highlander was the best villian EVER! Throw him in a suit like Ron Perlman's in Hell Boy and he will make Lobo the best film of the year!

I know that there are a lot of good stories and ideas that have come out of the Ultimates line but I'm just not a fan, but the Ultimates line was never intended for me. I`m 32. It was meant to reintroduce some of the Marvel universe characters to the younger generation because most comic heads are in there 20's and 30's. They needed to get to the teens, so hence the Ultimates. I`m not knocking it but I like Thor as an actual god and Spiderman with powers and not a celebrity. I did like the new Nick Fury but they made Bruce Banner a huge douche. Anyway, you are right as long as they use a mix which they obviously seem to be then I`m fine with it.

And Clancy Brown. That is a YES!

That's cool, Ponyboy...it's just that I'm 32 also...lol...be 33 in January.  I guess my excuse for liking the Ulitmates more would be that I didn't start reading comics until my high school years, and at that time, the Avengers had been in a HUGE funk for a loooong time.  That's why for my first few years reading comics I was primarily an X-Men fan.  I knew a bit about the Avengers from reading crossovers like "Infinity Gauntlet" and stuff, but the comics themselves bored the hell out of me.  Did the Ultimates come out before Marvel got wise and started to revamp the Avengers?  I can't remember.

For Lobo, I would prefer Jeffrey Dean Morgan who played The Comedian in Watchmen. There was some talk of him playing Lobo. Nothing against Clancy Brown. He's great. But Morgan strikes me as Lobo-type.

Huh...I could kind of see that, Rizing...I've liked him since I first started watching "Supernatural", and I've seen him turn up in older stuff that I didn't realize was him at the time (an episode of "Angel" comes to mind)...not sure if he's got the bulk enough, but special effects and make up go a long way.
