Warner Hires Lieber to Care for NEOPETS

Warner Bros. Pictures has signed Rob Lieber to write the first CG-animated feature resulting from the studio's deal with the popular kids Web site NeoPets.

There are no details yet on the story but NeoPets are tracked by millions of kids who log on to take care of their own virtual pets, as well as follow storylines about other pets who populate Neopia.

Dylan Sellers will produce. John A. Davis will direct and co-produce.

i haven't seen neopets. i don't if they are as annoyning as braindead barney or the very annoying blues clues. i grew up on tom and jerry and loony toons myself.
