According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jeff Smith's acclaimed comic series 'Bone' is now in development with Warner Bros.
Dan Lin will produce the film with Smith executive producing. The property was being developed as a animated feature many years ago, languishing in development hell for years before running out of steam. The comic, however, continues to be a best-seller, having initially been self-published by Smith, with later editions coming from Scholastic.
Warner has not yet decided whether the movie will be live-action, animated or both.
