Lucas Denies Shia Taking over INDY - Aug 08, 2008 - 05:00pm
My God, that last Indy flick was a pooper. If you can even call it a Indy flick. I can't believe Ford even signed on. Yes, it was one that I wanted to walk out on but gave it the benefit of the doubt because I thought it would get better toward the end. It didn't.
Karen Allen? Dumb! John Hurt? Dumb! Shia LaBoof? Dumb! Harrison Ford? Shame on you! George 'The Destructor' Lucas? Please hibernate for a while. Sell your stuff, become hungry again, start from scratch. Then lets see what you can do.
Also, we are hating because we hate seeing our favorite franchises run into the ground. We hate seeing 'people' use the popularity of a franchise to suck us in to line their pockets. We hate seeing 'people' use and abuse our loyalty with substandard product to sell merchandise. This applies to everything in life, out there not just movies. In this case it applies to a movie and in this case it happens to be Lucas...again! Try not 'loving' so much and be objective like the rest of us. Fucking Puppet.
DONNIE DARKO Sequel - May 10, 2008 - 05:53pm
I agree with you Sonymanswallows. But it only took me about 3 times and the pause button to work it out. ;)
This is just another lame scheme to ride the coattails of a success just to make money. How original. How could you possibly make a sequel to this? Call it 'Donnie Darko 2' when he doesn't even appear in the movie?
Some things are better left alone.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: Six of One - Apr 15, 2008 - 01:56am
Hmmm...I wouldn't give it an 'A' maybe a 'B-'. It was a good episode with Roslin and Adama changing philosophies regarding logic and faith. Baltar's quest is pretty lame even with him seeing himself instead of Six. Lee's becoming a civilian was a letdown and beyond logic considering they are still fighting for their lives and others in the fleet are stuck with the jobs they have and the crappy living quarters proving Baltar's theories of an Aristocracy correct.
The highlight of the show was the Centurian's becoming aware and Six opening a can of whoop ass.
