Original STAR WARS DVD Cover Art - May 18, 2006 - 11:16am
Folks, if you haven't read, the "original theatrical releases" are NOT - repeat NOT - going to be anamorphic widescreen... they are to be LETTERBOXED. Yes, you read me correctly. This is from TheDigitalBits.com who broke the story a day or two ago.
With each passing day my complete revulsion for Lucas grows. >:P
Germany's Stallion is WICKED - Apr 12, 2006 - 07:42am
And the trend of making something new out of something old continues. There is no intelligence left in Hollywood, which is a shame since they USED to make good movies. And they wonder why theater revenues are so low? High ticket prices combined with azzcrap movies is a poor combination. :P
Garfield is Beck - Apr 12, 2006 - 07:39am
Heavens, they'll make a sequel to anything. O_O
Harnois Sees Summer SOLTICE - Mar 27, 2006 - 08:35am
I've lost count of how many horror movies have a group of GenX'ers congregating at a house in the woods. Three cheers for originality!
INSIDE the Weekend Box Office - Mar 27, 2006 - 08:33am
Man, what happened to having the new releases in RED? I found that pretty helpful.
X Will Helm RAZORWIRE - Mar 24, 2006 - 07:56am
Yet another example of why 95% of most movies released today are stinkers. The suits will finance just about ANYTHING. :P
V for Box Office - Mar 20, 2006 - 06:53am
My wife and I saw 'V' yesterday and loved it. We haven't read the source material (tho we ordered it last night with some excitement), but as a movie to those who haven't read the original work we thought it was fantastic. We were actually tempted to stay in our seats and watch the next showing!
Saw III - Mar 03, 2006 - 08:27am
Yeah, most of us 'saw' this coming.
GALACTICA Set Visit With Mary McDonnell - Mar 03, 2006 - 08:19am
I cannot say enough good things about this show. Last week's episode had me on the edge of my seat, but also laughing out loud. Hard to do both. :)
Hopefully they'll keep it up!
DVD on ICE - Feb 28, 2006 - 09:54am
ultrazilla-
It's a legal issue. If you google for 'Fred Dekker interview' you should find a neat interview with him - he directed both "Night of the Creeps" and "Monster Squad". He explains that it's a legal issue with all the recent production company buyouts. They're both in kind of a 'DVD limbo' at the moment.
I'm a huge fan of both these movies, so I keep my fingers crossed that someday soon they'll both be released on DVD!
Berry Promises No CATWOMAN II - Feb 17, 2006 - 10:32am
I'm happy to say I was at the Hasty Pudding Parade with Halle yesterday! It was a nice day here in Cambridge, MA. She was in a convertible and was smiling, laughing, and waving to the crowd. She seemed to be having a good time.
Halle is one of the very few people who looks more attactive in person than on the screen. =D
Oh, what the heck... KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
