WB exec talks BIRDS cancellation

Zap2It.com reports that WB Entertainment president Jordan Levin has been talking about the network's decision to shoot down BIRDS OF PREY.

The site quotes Levin as saying, "We think we can attribute the erosion of BIRDS OF PREY, quite frankly, to a failure of execution. We think we had a very strong concept and just failed to execute it, and audiences abandoned the show as a result."

The show started off with an audience of 7 million and dropped to an average of 5 million. The WB's ANGEL will move to the Wednesday night slot in January to replace the cancelled show.
