The film stars Steven Strait, Camilla Belle, Cliff Curtis, Omar Sharif, Tim Barlow, Marco Khan, Reece Ritchie, Mo Zinal, Mona Hammond, Joel Virgel Vierset, Suri van Sornsen, Joel Fry, Nathanael Baring and Joe Vaz. Plot Summary: From director Roland Emmerich comes a sweeping odyssey into a mythical age of prophesies and gods, when spirits rule the land and mighty mammoths shake the earth. In a remote mountain tribe, the young hunter, D'Leh (Steven Strait), has found his heart's passion - the beautiful Evolet (Camilla Belle). When a band of mysterious warlords raid his village and kidnap Evolet, D'Leh is forced to lead a small group of hunters to pursue the warlords to the end of the world to save her. Driven by destiny, the unlikely band of warriors must battle saber-tooth tigers and prehistoric predators and, at their heroic journey's end, they uncover a Lost Civilization. Their ultimate fate lies in an empire beyond imagination, where great pyramids reach into the skies. Here they will take their stand against a powerful god who has brutally enslaved their people.

10,000 B.C. will hit theaters March 7, 2008.

They spoke British in 10,000 BC. Don't believe me? Watch the movie.

This movie will bomb. There was no 'money shot' or 'wow shot' in the trailer. There was absolutely nothing with appeal in the trailer. A stampede of Wooly Mammoth?? *Sigh!*

And as dumb as this looks most of my friends want to see it. Which means they'll probably drag me along.
And I don't know about and "money shot", but it doesn't look horrible, just rediculous. If I know that going in and my expectations are down, maybe I won't hate myself watching it. Maybe I'll even enjoy myself.

"they uncover a Lost Civilization."

Well, this would at least explain the... well, level of civilization that's seen at times in the trailer.

I'm still not sure if I have any interest in seeing this. Actually, no, I don't have any interest in this.

you guys bring up some good points, but despite the negative buzz this movie's being produced by Legendary Pictures. I'll definitely check it out for that reason alone.

I'd be on this if Gibson had directed. "APOCALYPTO" was the s#&t!

I don't think historical accuracy was of the utmost importance. This movie seems to harken back to the "Raquel Welch/stone age" films of the 60's.

I think this movie looks like fun. I think Roland has always delivered good popcorn movies. Even Godzilla has grown on me over time. If I want something that is based on Historical accuracy, I will tune into the History channel. I mean, after all, millions of people believe in and follow the bible, and is that really Historicly accurate? I should think not. Take it for what it is, a popcorn movie.
