Five months after revealing a teaser at last summer's Comic Con, Warner Bros. Pictures has unleashed the full trailer for Terminator Salvation courtesy of Apple. Planned as the first installment of a new trilogy, the film stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood, Common, Jadagrace and Helena Bonham Carter. Director McG led production behind the camera, based on a screenplay by John Brancato and Michael Ferris.
You can check out the new trailer here.
Plot Concept: In the highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.
Terminator Salvation will hit theaters May 22, 2009.
Good stuff...I'm there. Well probably a month after it comes out because my wife is having our first baby that day. So I will probably catch the movie in late June or sadly on DVD. I tried to convince her to go to a midnight showing before we checked in at the hospital, but that didn't go over very well. It's cool though because as much as I want to see Terminator, it can wait, some things are just more important.
Christian Bale looks the part of Connor and Worthington looks like one bad dude. Plus I like all the new Terminator machines they look cool. However I hope they don't go too far with it, because then it becomes too much of a gimmick and I would rather have more story.
