WB takes over The Grove

On October 1st WB Network held a Wednesday Night Premiere Party for ANGEL and SMALLVILLE at The Grove on Fairfax and Third Street, put on by KTLA and KIIS FM. Radio host Clarence Barnes and KTLA's Mindy Burbano and Sam Rubin were the hosts of the night.

This event attracted hundreds of fans, mostly teenagers, who waited to see their favorite stars from WB. Talking to the fans I discovered that a lot of them were waiting to see Kristin Kreuk and Tom Welling from SMALLVILLE who were on location filming and would not be attending. But they were also very excited that the stars of ANGEL would be there.

Seen at The Grove were WB stars: Margo Harshman and Joseph Lawrence - RUN OF THE HOUSE; Kevin Michael Richardson, Megalyn Echikunwoke , Diane Farr and J. Mack Slaughter LIKE FAMILY; SMALLVILLE stars John Schneider and Emmanuelle Vaugier; ANGEL stars David Boreanaz, James Masters, Amy Acker, Andy Hallett, J. August Richards, Mercedes McNab and Sarah Thompson who is joining the cast of ANGEL as the character Eve this season.

Also seen was Chris Marquette FREDDIE VS. JASON who attended with girlfriend Margo from RUN OF THE HOUSE. Kyla Pratt THE PROUD FAMILY and Rob Bowman X-FILES and REIGN OF FIRE director - who both just happened to come to The Grove for an evening out and boy were caught by surprise!

It was a fun evening for all!
