The WB has announced more than half its affiliates will start broadcasting five hours of HDTV programming beginning September 12.
While the full list of stations switching over to the new digital broadcast standard has yet to be revealed, the network hopes to broadcast SMALLVILLE in HDTV from this point on. Other shows slated for the HDTV treatment are FAMILY AFFAIR, EVERWOOD and REBA, all of which will never be mentioned in this magazine again. It is not yet known when the WB will begin broadcasting all of its programming, such as ANGEL, in HDTV.
