Warner Bros. has revealed a new full trailer for their next installment Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The sixth installment into their popular franchise stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Helena Bonham Carter, David Bradley, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Tom Felton, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Natalia Tena, Julie Walters, David Thewlis, Evanna Lynch, Matthew Lewis, Bonnie Wright, Jim Broadbent, Helen McCrory, Jessie Cave, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Frank Dillane. Director David Yates (Order of the Phoenix) is once again behind the camera, based on a screenplay by Steven Kloves.

You can check out the new trailer by clicking here.

Plot Summary: Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will hit standard and IMAX theaters July 17, 2009.

As I said in the other news story...Bootleg dancing is for the birds. The official HD version will be up after the weekend. :)

For a bootleg version, it's pretty damn clear and i too will be awaiting for the "official" HD trailer also. But, for those "birds" who can't wait. Go ahead and peck away!!!

I know that the story is already like 90% over, but in the last movie the kid who plays Harry Potter looked about 30 years old already! How old is the character of  Harry Potter suppossed to be at this point in the story? Can't be 30 can it?

lracors 11/15/2008 6:56:21 AM

This looks much better than the previous trailer.

I know NotAFan is joking, but how old is Daniel, is he 19?

JarrodSarafin 11/16/2008 12:18:55 AM

I'm sure NotAFan was joking but I didn't get it ...especially with him using "90%" in every one of his posts today.

And yes, Daniel is 19, Almost. He'll be 20 next July. So he's not too far off his character.

I haven't been able to see this trailer yet and the link wouldn't load at first and now it's all wingdings.  Just thought I should tell someone.

Can't wait for the HD version. The bootleg definitely whets your appetite, though.

Just peeked at the bootleg since the trailer for HP still isn't working.  Star Trek looks awesome.  I'm there.
